Dr. Bharti Jain has over 13 years of experience in the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights. She also helps clients in the management and commercialization of IPR. She is an Advocate and Registered Patent Agent and has practical experience in the protection of patents, trademarks, copyrights industrial designs, and allied transactional and non-transactional matters; well aware of the laws and issues related to biodiversity and plant variety protection rights. She is well versed in patent drafting, patent prosecution, response to office actions in India and outside in over 30 jurisdictions (through associates), patent oppositions, FTO search & analysis, patentability analysis, novelty analysis, patent invalidation, patent mapping and landscaping, patent due diligence. She specifically deals in patents across all major fields for Indian and overseas clients with a specialized focus on life sciences, biochemical, medical, medical devices, immunological, herbal, and pharmaceutical inventions. She was associated for over 8 years with a Delhi-based reputed IP Law Firm. Previously she worked with the Indian Council of Medical Research. She is a member of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA) and Licensing Executive Society International (LES).
